Universal Transition Pipe Coupling 27mm - 34mm
This transition coupling can be used to connect standard and non-standard pipe work with outer diameters from 27mm up to 34mm
Transition couplings are different from standard MDPE couplings as when the nut is tightened the seal and clamp ring reduce in size to allow different diameters of pipe. It also means that the pipe doesn't require a liner / sleeve.
This is commonly used to convert old lead mains as well as imperial sized black alkathene
Can be used on most types of pipe including copper, MDPE / Alkathene, PVC, ABS, stainless steel, galvanized iron and lead
Suitable for cold water installations only
NOTE: Pipes must be completely clean and free of debris to ensure a seal
