MDPE Alkathene Water Mains Stopcock Tap 25mm
Plastic mains water stopcock tap to fit 25mm blue MDPE and Imperial 3/4 inch black alkathene mains water supply pipe
Acts as a compression fitting with a plastic cone gripping the pipe and a rubber seal behind to seal on to the pipe.
Plastic stop cocks are preferred as brass stop cocks can expand and leak in colder temperatures
Blue MDPE requires a liner - Imperial black alkathene doesn't require a liner
Will connect on to 3/4" stamped imperial black alkathene - Suitable for Class C, Class D and Heavy Gauge IRS 135
3/4" Class C and D approximate OD is 26.6 to 26.9mm
3/4" Heavy Gauge IRS 135 approximate OD is 27.05 to 27.45mm
