This compression coupling is suitable for 20mm blue MDPE pipe and also 21.5mm imperial black alkathene
Blue MDPE requires a liner - Imperial black alkathene doesn't require a liner
1/2" will be stamped on the pipe followed by the class / BS number
Suitable for 1/2" Class C and Class D (approximately 21.5mm OD) and Heavy Gauge IRS 135 (20.7 to 21.1mm OD) black alkathene pipe
